Talks & Posters
Deadline extension to Feb 28, 2026
What
Your study may be presented either as a talk or as a poster. Talks consist of a 12-minute presentation followed by a 3-minute discussion.
All abstracts, irrespective of submission category, will undergo a blind review by two members of the scientific committee, based on the following criteria: quality of content, significance, originality, thematic relevance, and clarity of presentation. Each submission will then be assigned to a presentation format (talk or poster).
Abstracts may be submitted in one of three categories:
1) Planned studies: At the time of submission, the study design, protocol, and planned analyses are defined, but data collection has not yet started. You can make further adjustments for the conference.
2) Collected data: Data collection has been completed at submission, and partial or full data analysis may be conducted before the conference.
3) Analyzed data: Data have already been partially or fully analyzed at submission, and the final analysis will be completed by the time of the conference.
Only abstracts in the collected or analyzed data categories are eligible for talk presentations, except for non-experimental contributions such as those presenting novel theoretical frameworks, or works focusing on tools and methods.
How
To contribute a poster or a talk at MOBI 2026 please submit
- Title,
- Two to five keywords,
- Your preference (talk or poster) and the category (planned study/collected data/analyzed data),
- Structured abstract (max. 500 words and 1 figure as editable .doc/.docx format) with the following sections: Introduction, Methods, Results (optional), Discussion.
- Whether you would like to present your poster in the poster blitz (There are 20 slots for the poster blitz provided on a first-come first-served basis. If accepted for the poster blitz, prepare to talk about your poster content for 2min – the audience will vote for the best presentation to get the MOBI 2026 poster blitz prize).
- Whether you would like to see your abstract published after the conference.
As the number of talk slots is limited, some submissions intended as talks will be accepted as posters instead.
If your abstract is accepted as a poster, we recommend preparing your poster in the better poster format.
Note that every attendee can only submit one abstract.
Poster format : Please prepare A0 portrait format (vertical stands, 195 (height) X 95 (width) cm)

The selection of talk sessions will be finalized following careful deliberation among the members of the scientific committee.
Session chairs will curate the talks based on review scores, aiming to create thematically coherent and discussion-oriented sessions that reflect diversity across research groups and backgrounds. We recognize that a 500-word abstract can convey only limited information about a prospective presentation, yet we remain committed to ensuring fairness to the greatest extent possible.
