One of the goals of TUPEX-6 is to provide students comprehensive hands-on experience progressing a mission through phases of a project.
This week students received their work package assignments and promptly got to work developing their subsystems’ requirements. Each sub system work package consists of a team of two students. The picture to the left shows the Master of space engineering class working on TUPEX-6 during the second half of their Space System Design class.
The development schedule will closely follow the semester schedule of the programs with a different phase completed each semester. The project is currently in phase B and will close with a PDR in February 2018 as a presentation to senior members of the department.
